   GRACE ROSELLE BUTLER — or "NELLIE" (as she was known throughout her life) — was born 21 Aug 1873 in Cazenovia, Madison County, New York, USA. She was the daughter of Joseph Butler and Elizabeth Chrisman, both of Cazenovia.
   On May 19, 1896, Nellie married her first husband, Alverton "Birt" Stark Adle (or Adel). Nellie and Birt had four daughters together — Carrie, Gladys, Ruth and Maybelle — but they later divorced on 2 June 1921 in Wampsville, Madison County, New York, USA.
   Nellie next married Leslie Louis Wetmore on 24 Dec 1921 in Oneida, Madison County, New York, USA. He was an auto mechanic from Nebraska. 
   Nellie died of ovarian cancer at at 12:30 a.m. on the First of June 1937 in the Broad Street Hospital in Oneida, Madison County, New York, USA. She was buried in Glenwood Cemetery in Oneida.

       Mrs. Nellie Wetmore, 63, native of Cazenovia, and resident of 254 James Street, this city, died last night in Broad Street Hospital after a short illness. Surviving are four daughters, Mrs. Carrie Harp, Mrs. Gladys Zable, Mrs. Ruth Shelley and Mrs. Mabel Lerch, Oneida; five brothers, Joseph Butler, George Butler and William Butler, Oneida; Albert Butler, Wampsville, and Frank Butler of Central Square, also several nieces, nephews and grandchildren.
